A Message from Our Chairperson

Marlboro County Coordinating Council is a nonprofit corporation with over 40 active agencies, organizations, civic groups, and others who are interested in improving human services in Marlboro County. They attend the meetings, which makes our organization viable for our community. Our mission is to promote the effective use and coordination of existing community resources. We provide a forum for mutual concerns, enlightenment, and benefit of members to expand existing services, develop sufficient resources to meet countywide needs, and provide a mechanism for input into human services, planning, development, and implementation. The coordinating council also functions to prevent duplications of services when possible providing quality services with time and money. It is not set up to be an agency or a granter per se. Although it, at times is a conduit through which resources can flow to the community.

We appreciate your support through volunteerism, donations, and spreading the good news happening in Marlboro County through the acts of those within the Marlboro County Coordinating Council.
