Marlboro County does not have a community hospital. This has left our community vulnerable in many ways. Through the agencies within the Marlboro County Coordinating Council and various resources throughout the Pee Dee region, we are able to assist families with healthcare-related needs.

Each year we partner with other organizations from across the state and our local community to provide a health and wellness community forum. The event is held annually at the Bennettsville Community Center. Citizens in attendance at our past events have received the following:
Resources available in the community as they relate to health & wellness
Classes and workshops they can sign up for to help manage Diabetes and other diseases, and
Training on how to live a healthier life in these uncertain times
The following items were also distributed:
